ClaimTime AI Assistant

Ask your claims in plain English

Click Ask ClaimTime on any page of the app and ask what you would otherwise dig for: how many claims are open, which items still need pricing, what's ready for export, what's due today. Answers come from your own workspace, read with your permissions, and nothing gets changed.

Ten tabs open to answer one question

The facts are already in your claims. Getting them out means opening claim after claim and adding things up in your head.

The manual way

  • Open each claim to see which items still need review or pricing.
  • Compare totals across claims by hand to see where the value sits.
  • Scroll the task board to find what's due today and what slipped.
  • Hunt for the claim team or the document list before a call.

With ClaimTime

  • Ask "Which claims have items missing review?" and get the list with counts.
  • Ask which claim has the highest RCV. The total matches your claims list.
  • Ask what's due today or overdue and get task names and dates back.
  • On a claim, ask who is assigned or which documents it has.

From question to answer

  1. Open Ask ClaimTime. The button sits in the corner of every page of the app. The ClaimTime Assistant panel opens over your work, and minimizing it keeps the conversation.
  2. Ask in plain English. Type a question or tap a suggestion. Ask about the whole workspace, about the claim on screen, or about any claim by its number.
  3. It reads what you can see. ClaimTime loads a fresh snapshot of your claims, items, tasks and documents through your own signed-in session. If your role can't open it, neither can the assistant.
  4. You get numbers, not guesses. Counts and totals use the same definitions as the app. If something fails to load, the answer says so instead of reporting zero.

Questions it really answers

Pick a question, or let the first few play. Switch to the claim page to see how the same panel answers about the claim on screen.

Every answer is the app's own, captured on its demo business, Harbor & Pine Adjusters, with the sample claim's counts as they stand now. The panel is a copy of the app's. The business and its claims are fictional; the answers are not.

Ask about everything, or about this claim

From the claims list, the dashboard or the task board, questions cover every claim you can access in the business: how many are open, which one carries the highest RCV, which still have items missing review or pricing, and what deserves attention first.

Open a claim and the same panel knows which claim is on screen. Ask for its status and current RCV, who is assigned, which documents are attached, or a short summary before you call the policyholder. Mention a claim number, like CLM-26-0582, and it answers about that claim from anywhere.

  • Workspace: open claims, highest RCV, review and pricing gaps
  • Claim page: status, RCV, open work, team and documents
  • Tasks due today or overdue, on business plans
  • How-to help for any part of the app

It answers. It never changes a thing.

The assistant reads through the same signed-in session you use, so it sees the claims, items and tasks your role lets you see, and nothing else. Questions that go to the server are checked again there: the business, workspace and claim must be ones you can access.

It has no way to edit, approve, price, assign, export or delete. Ask it to mark items reviewed and it tells you where to do that in the app. It knows a claim's document names but not what's inside them, so it won't pretend to have read the proof of loss.

  • Uses your own permissions, checked again on the server
  • Takes no actions on claims, items or tasks
  • Says when data couldn't load instead of guessing
  • Sticks to ClaimTime questions

Is it ready to go out?

Ask "Which claims are ready for export?" and ClaimTime checks every claim that has items. A claim counts as ready when every item is reviewed and priced, nothing is still being analyzed and no item has an analysis error.

When nothing is ready yet, the answer lists the biggest blockers claim by claim: how many items are missing review, need pricing, are still analyzing or have errors. Finish that work in the claim, then build the Excel workbook or claim package.

Checks that run on plain rules

Two other helpers in ClaimTime look like insight but are fixed rules, and we call them that. They sit beside the assistant, not inside it.

Readiness steps

A claim's Overview walks through its workflow steps and marks each one done from the claim's own data, with a completion percentage. Skip a step that doesn't apply to the claim.

Overview insights

The same Overview lists what still needs attention on that claim, such as items waiting for review or pricing. Each line comes from a fixed check on the claim's data.

Smart Signals

The Analytics page flags patterns across your claims with Smart Signals. They are rule-based: the same numbers always produce the same signal.

Answers from the work you already did

The assistant has no separate data of its own. It reads the claims, items, tasks and documents you keep in ClaimTime.

  • Claim workspace: Statuses, tasks, claim teams and document lists come straight from the claim workspace.
  • AI contents inventory: Item counts, review status and pricing gaps are read from each claim's contents inventory.
  • Reports & exports: Ask which claims are ready for export before you build the Excel workbook or claim package.

Questions about Ask ClaimTime

What can the assistant see?

What you can see in the app, through your own session: the claims you can access with their status, item counts, RCV, review and pricing counts and number of documents; items still needing pricing; your business's tasks; and on a claim page, that claim's team, document names and highest-value items. It can't read what's inside a document.

Can it change my claims?

No. The assistant is read-only. It can't edit, approve, price, assign, export or delete anything. Ask it to, and it explains where to do it in the app.

Where do I find it?

On every page of the app. The Ask ClaimTime button in the bottom-right corner opens the ClaimTime Assistant panel. Minimize it and the conversation is still there when you come back.

How current are the answers?

Each data question loads a fresh snapshot of your workspace, so counts and totals reflect the moment you asked.

Does it work across a team?

Yes. In a business account it answers across every claim you can access in that business and adds tasks: what's due today and what's overdue. Each teammate's answers stay within their own access.

Does asking use Time Tokens?

No. Asking ClaimTime doesn't spend Time Tokens.
